The electric van from Peugeot arrived on the Czech market, it will surprise you with the price

The Electric Expert can only be purchased from the second Active trim level. The basic model can be considered a variant in the length of L1, which according to the current price list will cost 899 thousand crowns without tax.

However, on the occasion of the start of sales, Peugeot set the special price at 684 thousand crowns, which is a pleasant price for a large electric car. For comparison, the diesel model with a 2.0-liter engine and similar equipment costs 645 thousand crowns without tax. What’s not so long ago, Peugeot sold it miniature iOn, its first modern electric car, for a similar amount.

In the Czech Republic, it is currently possible to order an e-Expert. Of course, more demanding customers will also be able to order extended versions, where the basic price is higher. The longer model L2 costs CZK 924,000, the longer L3 costs CZK 949,000. With a battery with a higher capacity, the price will easily exceed the limit of 1 million for both variants.

Customers can order the new electric Expert in three different body lengths L1 (4600 mm), L2 (4950 mm) and L3 (5300 mm). The car stands on the EMP2 platform and has a well-known electric motor with an output of 100 kW under the hood under Peugeot. The customer can choose either a 50 kWh battery with a range of 230 km or, and only for lengths L2 and L3, a battery with a higher capacity of 75 kWh and a range of 330 km. The car will have three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Power.

The big domain of the vehicle should be mainly its efficiency, which, according to Peugeot, did not suffer even when the batteries and the electric motor were inserted into the e-Expert. A trailer weighing up to 1 ton can be attached to the towing device. The cargo space is then as large as the combustion version, but unfortunately it will carry less, and only 1275 kg due to the laws on electric cars.

The basic equipment of the e-Expert corresponds to the fact that it is a commercial vehicle. For the starting price, you get manual air conditioning, 16-inch steel wheels, electronic handbrake or cruise control. However, the price list of additional equipment is very rich.
