Fantastic punishment: the Juventus goal number 100 in the national team arrives in Stockholm in the Nations League. And also number 101
A prestigious milestone, yet another in Cristiano Ronaldo’s career: the 35-year-old Juventus champion scored his 100th international goal at the Friends Arena in Solna (in the Stockholm metropolitan area). He did so in the Nations League match between Sweden and Portugal, just before the break, bringing the Lusitanians forward.

What a punishment
—
CR7’s free-kick was truly splendid, with his right foot from 20 meters giving goalkeeper Olsen no escape, sending the ball under the crossbar. The Juve striker, after missing the match against Croatia due to a foot infection, is back at the disposal of coach Fernando Santos for the match against the Swedes. Portugal is European champion and trophy holder, having won the first edition of the Nations League.

… and I’m 101

Insatiable, in the second half Ronaldo reached 101, scoring a brace: the doubling was also beautiful, a great right-footed shot from the edge. Cristiano has scored to 41 different national teams: Sweden and Lithuania his favorite “victims” (7 goals against both).
