entertainment">Talking about money has almost become a taboo in the Netherlands, according to the broadcaster. With the series, the EO wants to make money and the differences in income and expenditure negotiable. Questions were asked such as ‘How do they arrange their finances?’, ‘What is their income?’ and ‘How much is going out and what is left?’. In other words, ‘what do they do it from?’.

entertainment">The four families portrayed all have a completely different budget at their disposal. With an income of 130,000 euros per month, the Azimi family does not have to watch their pennies. For the De Vrind family, this amounts to 300 euros per month. Everyone has their own problems or concerns about money.

entertainment">“Few people say how much comes in and goes out to them every month. With this program we show four families who speak openly about this and do not hide anything. I hope that we can inspire viewers to think for themselves how they handle their money and what they think about it. We also want to challenge them to enter into a discussion about this ”, says EO editor-in-chief Herman Wegter.
