Hyundai in Kopřivnice mainly used vibrating surfaces made of cubes to detect noise, field tests including fords, which it has to handle without problems up to a depth of 30 centimeters, or steep slopes to verify the function of assistance systems.

At the same time, the test riders set off for the Austrian Alps. The Grossglockner Pass provided traditional conditions for a test with a trailer that tests not only the drive and brakes during steep climbs and descents, but also the behavior of the suspension in corners.

In earlier stages of development, the carmaker states that Tucson has, for example, passed endurance and dynamic tests on the North Loop of the Nürburgring or road tests from the coldest winter conditions in northern Sweden to testing in the hot weather of southern Spain.

Premiere around the corner
The new generation of Tucson will be introduced on September 1 in Seoul. Hyundai has already shown dark images of the unveiled car, which indicate a very extravagant bow, as well as an interestingly designed interior with a raised screen of the infotainment system.

The novelty will be produced in two lengths for the first time, but a shorter variant will go to the European market.
