Latest Toyota Yaris Officially Launched, Prices Starting at IDR 263.4 Million

PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) officially introduces Toyota Yaris latest, Tuesday (8/9). Besides having a new look, the New Yaris has a shorter turning radius.

“The concept of improvement in the New Yaris this time is to complement and strengthen the Yaris DNA with added value in the form of agility as a result of a shorter turning radius and a stylish and youthful exterior design,” said Marketing Director of PT. Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM), Anton Jimmi Suwandy.

Refreshments are also given to the New Yaris exterior, if the previous generation looked like the Joker, now on the front it carries a more stylish language New Electrifying Front Looks on type G.

As for the TRD Sportivo type, the New Yaris is equipped with a New Striking LED Headlamp Design, New LED Fog Lamp Design, and Attractive New Front Grille and Bumper.

Toyota said that the front appearance of the New Yaris is designed to enhance the Yaris aura which is stylish and youthful in accordance with the character of the younger generation of customers and those who are young at heart.

Meanwhile, from behind its racing heart, the New Toyota Yaris still maintains the 2NR-FE In-line 4 Cyl engine with 16 Valve DOHC Dual VVT-i technology with a capacity of 1,496cc with a maximum power of 107ps and a maximum torque of 14.3 kgm. This engine is combined with a choice of manual and CVT transmissions.

In addition, the New Yaris has an option of 3 or 7 SRS airbags embedded in the driver and passenger seats. The new Yaris is also embedded technology Hill Start Assist (HAS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Anti Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), dan Brake Assist (BA).

In addition, the New Yaris TRD Sportivo is also equipped with New Rear Parking Camera which synergizes with a shorter turning radius, namely 5.1 meters to make it easier for customers when parking or when making a reverse turn.
