JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Secretary General of the Assembly Center Manager Doctor Paru Indonesia (Sekjen PDPI) Erlang Samoedro advised the public to consult health services if they have one symptoms similar to a corona virus infection or Covid-19.

“The point is that any symptoms, we should go to health services to check for symptoms that lead to Covid-19 or not,” Erlang said at Graha BNPB, Jakarta, Monday (7/9/2020).

Symptoms what Erlang means is high fever, cough, runny nose, fever or stomachache and diarrhea.
Previously, an epidemiologist from Griffith University Dicky Budiman explained mild symptoms of Covid-19, such as flu.
Meanwhile, the symptoms that lead to the need for hospital services are breathing problems (shortness of breath), which is also marked by a decrease in oxygen saturation in the blood (hypoxia), or other severe symptoms such as neurological disorders, and others.
Meanwhile, fever and cough, according to him, are sufficient to be treated in an emergency hospital set up by the local government. This includes complaints of minor tightness and need oxygen assistance.

Contacted separately, the Public Relations of the All Indonesia Hospitals, Anjari Umarjianto, explained that the public can now take advantage of the online consultation provided by the hospital for health checks.
However, people who need health services, especially in emergency situations, can go directly to health service facilities, including hospitals.
“But in this pandemic situation, several hospitals provide online consultation facilities, the public can take advantage of that,” Anjari said, Saturday (5/9/2020).
