In a video message on Facebook, television maker Bart De Pauw – known for “Buiten de zone”, “Schalkse riders”, “De mol” or “Quiz me quick” – announces that the VRT will end the collaboration after 30 years. “Dear people, I have a very important announcement to make. An announcement that I do not like to make, but the current circumstances force me to make it anyway. To be clear: this is not a joke”, De Pauw begins his statement, which takes a few minutes.
