JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – President Joko Widodo ( Jokowi) ensure that they will continue with social assistance programs or social assistance in the year 2021.
For this reason, Jokowi has also allocated a budget of IDR 419.31 trillion in the upcoming 2021 Draft State Budget. The extension of the government assistance program has also received approval from the Indonesian Parliament.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto said the decision was taken with the consideration that the Covid-19 case would continue to move, although the government also hopes for a vaccine next year.

The following are 4 BLT programs that will be continued next year:
1. Salary subsidy of IDR 600,000
Salary subsidy assistance BPJS of Employment targeting private employees with salaries below IDR 5 million. BLT dilution This started on 27 August and was carried out gradually until the end of September 2020.
The government has prepared a budget of Rp. 37.7 trillion for the program Wage Subsidy Assistance with the number of recipients reaching 15.7 million workers registered as active participants of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan as of June 2020.
Recipients of this employee salary subsidy will receive assistance of IDR 600,000 per month for 4 months. The payment is made in 2 stages or IDR 1.2 million per distribution.
The government released the Pre-employment Card to help those affected by the pandemic, especially employees who were laid off and unemployed. Participants of this program will receive incentive assistance for job training of Rp. 1 million per month.

The government provides funds of IDR 3,550,000 for participants who qualify as recipients of the 2020 Pre-Employment Card. Specifically, IDR 1,000,000 is used to pay for online training for the Pre-Employment Card. Then the rest is for incentives.
The incentive for the Pre-Work Card consists of two parts, namely the incentive for post-completion of the first training of IDR 600,000 per month for 4 months (IDR 2,400,000).
Then the post-filling incentive for evaluation survey is IDR 50,000 per survey for 3 surveys (IDR 150,000). Participants can take the next training if they have completed the first training.

All assistance can be received after participants complete the Pre-Employment Card training. Assistance money is transferred to a BNI Bank account. In addition, aid can also be disbursed through other platforms appointed by the government.
3. BLT UMKM
The government helps MSME entrepreneurs through a grant or grant program BLT dilution. The scheme is pouring UMKM assistance of Rp. 2.4 million which is transferred via account.
This government assistance aims to help small business players from the negative effects of the corona virus pandemic. A total of 12 million MSMEs will receive this assistance.
The government has begun to distribute MSME assistance of Rp. 2.4 million. The target, will be distributed BLT UMKM Rp. 2.4 million to 12 million micro business actors.
In phase I, around 742,422 total MSME actors were provided with these grants. The grants are disbursed through the accounts of the respective micro business actors. Meanwhile, for phase II, he said, was in the processing stage ( aid 2.4 million).

4. Social Assistance cash
The government through the Ministry of Social Affairs distributes social assistance, namely cash social assistance (BST) worth IDR 500,000 or social assistance IDR 500,000 for people who are not recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH).
The BLT for non-PKH staples is targeting 9 million beneficiary households (KPM). Each recipient will receive a cash fund of IDR 500,000 ( BLT Rp 500.000).
In addition to the cash social assistance program, the Ministry of Social Affairs continues to run regular programs such as the family hope program (PKH) and non-cash food assistance (BPNT).
The total budget for cash social assistance (BST) for 9 million beneficiary families (KPM) is IDR 4.5 trillion. This cash social assistance is carried out once for the beneficiary’s family.
