These 10 Drag Queens participate in Drag Race Holland

Last month it was announced that the Netherlands will get its own version of ‘Rupaul’s Drag Race’, called ‘Drag Race Holland’. We’ve known for a while now that Fred van Leer (43) is the presenter of the program, but now we also know which Queens will compete to become the Netherlands’ first Drag Superstar.

Ten d every weekrag queens compete against each other in all kinds of different assignments, ranging from design to comedy and acting challenges. Every week, the two queens who perform the least well compete against each other in one lip sync battle, after which someone will eventually be sent home.

Working for Drag Race was Fred van Leer’s dream


ChelseaBoy

Brian is ChelseaBoy’s real name. He puts his drag to explore topics such as gender and identity. ChelseaBoy takes the audience to higher spheres in her performances. She often uses unusual materials in her costumes and also often wears bald caps.

Envy Peru

Envy Peru is the most followed drag queen from the Benelux and therefore a competitor to take seriously. Drag queens known worldwide, such as Bianca Del Rio, follow her on social media. The roots of this drag queen are located in Peru. Boris, as his real name is, came to the Netherlands at the age of four.

Janey jacké

Justin has been performing as his for ten years drag-alterego Janey Jacké and describes herself as the ultimate fantasy of a Pop Princess. Janey is a stage animal and internationally known for her unique shows. For example, she performed in the United States, Greece. But she was also seen on television more often in the Netherlands, for example in All Together Now.

Henrique grows up in Brazil before coming to the Netherlands. He comes into contact with that drag and so will be drag-persona Miss Abby OMG to life. She is known for her energetic and sexy performances and is now a much sought-after entertainer at home and abroad.

Patty Pam-Pam

Pieter grows up in the south of Limburg. Therefore his drag-alterego Patty Pam-Pam also Queen of the South mentioned. Patty sings, mimics, dances and makes all of her clothes herself. Besides herself, she also dresses countless others drag queens at home and abroad.

Fame

Willem is the only one drag queen in this group no experience with performing in a club. Fame does everything online, through its own YouTube channel. She thinks that drag is much more than performing.

Sederginne is the only Flemish queen in the list and comedy is its main weapon. Sederginne is an internationally booked talent, including his own show on Mykonos. Sederginne’s main message: “Drag is fun.”
