1. Sudan Decides on the Separation of Religion and State in Its System of Government
Sudan, which has ended Islamic law in its country’s system of government, now separates religious rules from state rules.
Sudan’s transitional government agreed to separate it marking the end of 30 years of Islamic rule in the North African country.
