A Forum for Democracy meeting in the Musis theater in Arnhem has been interrupted due to a security risk. Thierry Baudet and Theo Hiddema have been brought to safety. An employee reported this on stage after a speech by Jan Cees Vogelaar. The Telegraph quotes an FvD spokesperson: “There was information about a situation that could be potentially threatening to Thierry Baudet and Theo Hiddema. That is why they left the room as a precaution on the advice of our security. The public has never been in danger at any time. ”
Update 21.57 – After Thierry Baudet, Theo Hiddema is now also brought to safety.
Update 21.52 – Shortly before ten o’clock Hiddema returned to the podium. Thierry Baudet will not be back tonight. Visitors are not allowed to leave the theater. Hiddema cannot say anything about the nature of the threat.
