Ludwigshafen (ots)
On Thursday morning at around 7:30 a.m., a car with several flat tires was reported to the Ludwigshafen police at a petrol station in Heinigstrasse. The officials were able to identify a 30-year-old man from Saarbrücken as the driver at the gas station. The 30-year-old was drunk. A breath alcohol test showed a value of 1.5 per thousand. During the further inspection it also turns out that the driver does not have a driver’s license and that he is said to have stolen the car from his wife beforehand. A blood sample was taken from the 30-year-old at the police station and the stolen car was seized. Since several tires were damaged on the car, the police are now also determining whether the driver had previously caused an accident.
