Since President Aleksandr Lukashenko declared last month that he had won the elections again, Belarus has been very restless. Sunday is the day when the opposition gets the most people out on the streets and today was no different. According to some sources, hundreds of thousands of Belarusians manifested against the president. They want not only his resignation, but also for all political prisoners to be released, for new elections to be held and for excessive police brutality to be punished.
