This time – as stated – one Ukrainian soldier was killed.

The soldier died as a result of an attack on the positions of government forces with small arms near the village of Prvylyivka in the Luhansk region, the Operations Staff of the Joint Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.

He stressed that this was the second breach of the ceasefire lasting from 27 July in one day. Earlier it was reported that another Ukrainian soldier was wounded by a grenade launcher at a position of government forces near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. “Such audacity of the opponent shows a deliberate effort to break the agreements”

It was noted that the Ukrainian armed forces responded to the second breach of the truce, and the losses on the side of the separatists were being determined.

After the first breach of the ceasefire, the staff emphasized that it gives the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DRL) and the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) has “another option” to comply with the ceasefire requirements set by the Tripartite Contact Group. Otherwise, in the event of next firing, government forces “will offer adequate resistance,” it warned.

“Such audacity of the opponent shows that the armed formations of the Russian Federation are deliberately seeking to break the agreements reached by the tripartite contact group on July 22” and proves that the so-called the authorities of self-proclaimed republics do not strive to achieve peace – then handed over the staff.
