Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announced that they will launch an offroad car Yamaha Wolverine RMAX-1000. The four-wheeled vehicle will be marketed in North America starting this September.
This offroad car is powered by a 1,000 cc engine. Yamaha cars this will be a product range of recreational vehicle ROV (Recreational Off-highway Vehicles).
The production of this offroad car will be carried out by the US group company Yamaha Motor Manufacturing Corporation of America (YMMC).
Yamaha aims to expand its market share by introducing new products in the recreational category. This segment is very popular in North America.
Wolverine RMAX-1000 offroad car has a handsome appearance typical of offroad cars. The appearance is full of adventure.
The 1,000 cc engine is claimed to have high torque. However, there is no mention of the detailed specifications of this Yamaha offroad car. There are driving modes that the rider can choose according to what they want.
This car is only designed for offroad use. Going forward, Yamaha Motor will continue to expand its ROV lineup and will continue to work to increase the company’s presence in the North American market.
In the United States, the Yamaha Wolverine RMAX-1000 offroad car costs from USD 19,799 to USD 21,299. If converted to today’s exchange rate, the price reaches Rp. 292 million to Rp. 314 million. Yamaha is targeting sales of the Wolverine RMAX-1000 to reach 9,300 units in North America within a year after its launch.
