The French brand introduced the serial Veyron 15 years ago, on September 5, 2005. At the time, it was described as the most expensive and fastest car on the planet. At the beginning of the project was the then despotic ruler of the Volkswagen Group, Ferdinand Piëch (how it was read here).

Design is the life work of the Slovak designer Jozef Kabana, who designed it practically in its entirety. Subsequently, he worked for Audi, then for many years for Škoda. After a short episode at BMW, he returned to the VW Group as the chief designer of the Volkswagen brand (read here).

The Veyron travels 407 kilometers per hour and was produced in a series of 450 pieces. After it was sold out, the company came up with the Bugatti Chiron model in 2016. Its version of the Sport was sold for CZK 2.65 million in 2018 (over 67 million crowns).

The Bugatti Veyron has a 1,000-horsepower in its basic design on its eight-liter 16-cylinder with four turbos (how to ride read here). In various limited editions, the top speed of the car increased even more and the power increased to 1,200 horsepower. The Bugatti Veyron was named after car racer Pierre Veyron, who in 1939 won the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the Bugatti 51A.
