A boat parade in support of President Donald Trump’s election campaign ran into trouble in the US state of Texas on Saturday. Several boats have sunk, says the Travis County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office reportedly received several calls from boats in distress during the Trump parade on Lake Travis. “Several boats have sunk”, it sounds on Twitter.
According to the sheriff’s spokesman Kristen Dark, there is no evidence of malicious intent. Nor are there any injuries. “Some made water, others couldn’t go any further, still others capsized. It was all sorts of things, ”said Dark.

On Twitter you can see images of the boats, with flags to support the Trump campaign, on a choppy lake. The wild water was probably due to too many boats moving simultaneously, too close together. “There was an unusually large number of boats on the lake today,” said Dark.
According to Dark, it is still being investigated exactly how many boats have sunk and how many Trump supporters had to be rescued.
