The unusual case happened at an airport in Ukraine and left everyone with their mouths open. While the crew waited for the landing order, a woman decided to open the plane’s emergency door and walk on the wing.
According to CNN Brasil, the passenger, whose name has not been revealed, traveled with her husband and children. The Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) flight had just landed in Kiev, coming from Antalya, Turkey.
The woman claimed she was “very hot” inside the plane. “I need to get some air”, she told the crew when she was forced to board the aircraft.
The unauthorized ride on the wing of the UIA’s Boeing 737 has already had an immediate consequence: the woman is prohibited from traveling on this airline again.
According to a UIA statement, airport security, as well as the police and a team of doctors, met the woman, but later revealed that she “Was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs”.
The Ukrainian airline criticized the woman’s behavior, saying it was “A bad example” for the children and pointed out that she may even be forced to pay a fine.
The incident took place at Boryspill International Airport on August 31 and the video that was shared on social media has already gone viral.
