Candidates for Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang (Tangsel), Rahayu Saraswati Djojohadikusumo, talks about sexual harassment of women. This responds to the viral tweet of the Democratic Party (PD) politician Cipta Panca Laksana at the-retweet by Said Didu about ‘the thighs of the candidates for Deputy Mayor of Tangsel are smooth’.
This viral started from Panca teasing on Friday (4/9) morning. He did not mention the name, but many netizen who assumed that the tweet was aimed at Sara because the candidates for Deputy Mayor of Tangsel were all men, except for Sara.
“The thighs of the candidate for deputy mayor of Tangsel are very smooth,” Panca tweeted on his Twitter account, @ panca66 as seen detikcom, Saturday (5/9/2020).
Panca’s taunt was later answered by Said Didu. The former Secretary of the Ministry of SOEs responded with the term ‘no photo is a hoax’.
“Huzzz – no pict hoax,” Said Didu wrote on his Twitter account, @msaid_didu, responding to Panca’s teasing.
Their conversation then went viral. A netizen even sends screenshot Panca and Said Didu’s conversation posting-an Sara. Netizen This linked Panca’s and Said Didu’s talks with the candidate’s supporters in the 2019 Presidential Election. It is known that Said Didu and Democrats are in the line of ‘opponents’ to President Joko Widodo. During the last presidential election, Sara, who is a Gerindra cadre, also supported Jokowi’s rival, Prabowo Subianto, who was his uncle.
Sara also replied teasing from netizen that. He said sexual harassment of women had nothing to do with political choices.
“Harassment has nothing to do with political affiliation, different political choices do not mean that I can be harassed, or because I am a woman does not mean that I can be harassed, harassment is only done by people who are dwarf and cowardly at heart,” said Sara on Twitter.

This member of the DPR RI for the 2014-2019 period emphasized that there was no tolerance for sexual harassment behavior. Sara condemned acts of harassment, even though it was only verbal.
“But my attitude is clear. There is no tolerance for verbal sexual harassment though. Too many women experience and tolerate it even though it hurts women,” said Sara.
“As an activist for women and children, I regret this incident and the perpetrators must know that it does not elevate the status of women, but hurts the dignity of women, especially for example female athletes,” continued the daughter of Hashim Djojohadikusumo.
