A local police officer from Moerdijk reports this on Twitter. He says he first encountered the driver of the car on the A59 near Fijnaart. The police told him not to drive there and pointed him to a shortcut.
Lost driving license
But it didn’t stop there: the same driver was later found at Moerdijk on the A17. The local police officer says that he has therefore taken the driver’s license. “Not fun, but road safety comes first.”
To be able to drive on a motorway (maximum speed 100 kilometers per hour), your vehicle must be able and allowed to be at least 50 kilometers. On the highway a minimum of 60 kilometers per hour applies.
