Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès has already responded on Twitter. “Annie Cordy was an accomplished artist whose humor and zest for life so well captured the” belgitude “we love so much,” said the prime minister.
Annie Cordy was an aunt of the Flemish singer Udo, with whom she sang together a few years ago during a television show on the RTBF.
