Siri Kristiansen makes her dance debut in her own wedding dress – VG

Kristiansen is one of the participants in this autumn’s «Shall we dance», and Saturday is the starting shot for the hopefuls.

Every year, the celebrities get to frolic in everything from beautiful to crazy costumes, but in her very first dance, Siri Kristiansen chooses to pick up habit from her own wardrobe.

The radio and TV profile is to swing in the dress she wore to the wedding party five weeks ago – a few weeks after she and her cohabitant for many years Espen Bjurstedt (50) gave each other their yes under «A formal signing of papers».

She reveals this herself on Instagram, under a picture from the big day.

«Spent 7 years getting him a boyfriend. 13 years of getting him as a husband. 13 years and 6 weeks of dancing bridal waltz. The dress is on, but the man has been replaced for the occasion. He has to watch it on TV …, Kristiansen writes on Instagram, at the same time as she apologizes to her husband and thanks to dance instructor Tarjei Svalastog (22).

Kristiansen is very hectic with dance training the day before, but confirms in an SMS to VG that it is the bridal waltz that is on the program when she is now in the fire.

– I never dared to dance in my own wedding, so I feel I get a second chance now, she says and adds:

– I will think of Espen throughout the dance.

Kristiansen is pleased that she can already use her dress again.

– Maybe I’m the first in history to actual use the wedding dress again. Even though everyone thinks they should, it often hangs in the closet, she thinks.

The husband laughs when VG calls and asks for comment on what it will be like to see his wife dance in the special dress with another man.

– It’s just fun. I’m looking forward to it, says a laughing Espen Bjurstedt.

He himself will sit at home with the couple’s two children aged eight and ten and watch in front of the screen. Corona pandemic puts stops for packed audiences.

– I think Siri will do well. But it will be exciting, the husband admits.

Gives VG met Kristiansen after the announcement of the dance participation, she did not hide her dream of being a princess for a day.

– I have never had the feeling of being the princess in the room. The opportunity to be thrown across the floor in a nice dress … If I manage it the way I see it in my head, it’s a feeling I’ve never had. It must be completely euphoric, she explained.
