KOMPAS.com – In recent days, a number of shoe labels have released products reminiscent of the glory days of movies and games in the 90s.
Like Adidas, which launched three Star Wars themed shoes in the near future, namely the silhouette of Top Ten Hi “Boba Fett”, Superstar “Darth Vader”, and Top Ten Hi “C-3PO”.
Then, Nike also released SB Dunk which took the theme from the Japanese anime and manga, Doraemon.
As if not to be outdone, the German shoe label, Puma also features shoes inspired by arcade games Mario Bros.
The Puma RS-Dreamer shoes, the signature of US rapper J. Cole, are almost unrecognizable because Puma gives them red, white, and blue hues – colors identical to Mario’s character.
In the image shared by Puma, you can see a combination of red, white and blue. These three colors refer to the clothes, hats and gloves worn by Mario.
Almost all parts of the shoes are dominated by red, starting from the tongue, collar, toebox, side panels, heel support, and shoelaces.
Gradations of blue decorate a number of parts on the sides to the midsole.
Meanwhile, ProFoam’s lower laces and midsole are accented in white.
Puma also pinned the branding “Super Mario” on the tongue, as well as Mario Super Star graphics on the heel.
The Puma RS-Dreamer “Super Mario 64” can be found on the Footlocker website, at a price of 125 US dollars, or approximately Rp 1.8 million.
