The Libyan international player Hamdo Al-Huni confirmed his preference for Tunisia’s Esperance offer to renew his contract on other offers from Egyptian clubs, which he received in the previous period.
The Tunisian club, Esperance, succeeded in renewing the contract of its Libyan player, to continue in its ranks until the summer of 2023, after the player’s stay was officially announced.
Reports had linked Hamdo Al-Huni to moving to Zamalek and Pyramids in the previous period, which was referred to by the player in a clip published by Esperance via the Internet.
Regarding the Egyptian interest, Al-Huni said: “I had Egyptian and Gulf performances, but I preferred to continue with Esperance, and God willing, I seek to present something to the club in the coming period.”
The Libyan player added: “I preferred Esperance because I feel comfortable here, as if I am among my family, the audience loves me and praises my name, the love of people makes you stay, money is not everything.”
Al-Huni ended: “It hasn’t been long since I joined Esperance Club, but I feel like I’m here, and this is a big thing for me. I hope to add to the team.”
