“It is strange that they are loose. Soon such an animal will have corona and a dog or a small child will be bitten. We are all not waiting for that ”, local resident Soraya van de Crommert told Omroep Brabant.
One of the predators, it is said to be at least three creatures in Best, was caught by a resident in their own garden. That catch came too late for a rabbit. How the animals ended up in the open air is unclear. A nearby mink farm declines to comment against the broadcaster. The municipality has called in a local hunter’s association to get rid of the critters.
