Freda Egan,a long-time resident of St. Patrick’s Street, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon,passed away peacefully on February 27,2025,at Ballina District Hospital. Surrounded by her heartbroken family, her passing marks the end of a life filled with love, family, and community. The funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea, on March 1, 2025, followed by burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. She was the wife of the late Jimmy Egan.

Mrs.Egan is predeceased by her parents, Timothy and Winifred, her sister Mae, and her brother Donald, along with Donald’s wife, Sheila, and her cousin Molly (McDermott). Her memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

A Life Dedicated too Family

Freda Egan was the beloved mother of Marie Clarke (Ballina), Donald (Knock), Denis (Spiddal), and June Duffy (Castlerea). The funeral Mass will be live-streamed on St. Patrick’s Church webcam for those unable to attend in person.
