Four people were killed when an aircraft chartered by the US military crashed earlier today on the island of Mindanao of the Philippines, according to local authorities and the US Embassy in Manila.
In a statement issued by the US Armed Forces administration responsible for the US Indo-Pacific Command or Indopacom, it is clarified that one US military and three external partners were killed in the air crash.
The aircraft was sending a “collection of information, monitoring and recognition” at the request of our Philippine Allies, “said the Indopacom statement, which stresses that there were” four occupants “and” no survivors “on the aircraft.
The Philippine News Agency (PNA) reported that the aircraft was a BeechCraft King Air 300, which crashed into a field in the Abatuan community.
