New military bases in Syrian territories is being created by Israel, where after the fall of the Assad regime has expanded their illegal occupation.
When Israel invaded the Syrian side of Golan’s highs in December, it claimed that its forces had entered the scene for defensive missions and arms seizure, as Assad’s fall left many armed groups in the area, which was not bound by the agreement. A ceasefire of 1974, signed by Israel and Syria.
Satellite images published by the Washington Post reveal that Israel has created two military bases on the Syrian side of Golan Heights, despite assuring the locals and the international community that its presence in the area would be temporary.

The images show two IDF bases and the recently paved roads that connect them. In addition, they present a point where it is believed to be designed to start the construction of a third base, several kilometers south.
The two new bases seem to be observation stations, similar to the observation bases on the Golan Heights controlled by Israel, according to analyst William Goodhind in the Washington Post.
The first base is close to Jubata al-Khashab and is at a more advanced stage of construction, while the second base, south of Al-Hamidiyah, is still under development. The first base was installed in a location that offers greater advantages for IDF, while the second was built in an area that provides easier access to the regional road network. The recently paved road, according to a report by the American newspaper, is about ten miles south of Quneitra. It extends from the boundary to the top of a hill near the village of Kodana.
