On Friday, February 7, at 19:00, acclaimed pianist Andrei‍ Osokin will​ debut his latest concert program, “Mozart, Debbie and Piano,” at the Culture Center “Ulbroka Pearl.” This marks the fifth installment in Osokin’s series of‍ programs⁤ dedicated to exploring the lives and ​works ‌of legendary composers.

For the first time, Osokin’s program will focus not on one, but two iconic figures in classical music: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Claude Achille Debussy. “This time I wanted ‍to combine two composers because‌ I am very​ excited about parallels in Mozart and Debussy’s work—they both ⁤have subtlety,aristocratic grace,and a very positive view⁤ of both people and their diverse expressions⁢ of feelings,” Osokin explains.⁤ ‌

The concert will showcase‍ Mozart’s timeless fantasies and sonatas alongside Debussy’s “Moonlight” from the “Bergamasque Suite” and the enchanting “Children’s Corner” ‌ cycle. Osokin’s performance will highlight the Austrian composer’s classical form and balance,complemented by Debussy’s humor,mysterious symbolism,and nuanced piano techniques.

“Mozart and ​Debussy are not ​only brilliant melody creators but also revolutionaries of their time, whose​ music is included among the most beloved classical music works of all time,”​ osokin adds.
