The GERB leader also raised questions about the Ministry of Finance’s handling of the 2024 budget. “I listen to all the interpretations of yesterday’s clerical message from the MoF all day, according to which everything in the budget for 2024 was implemented as planned. But no one notes, and deliberately, that in small letters it is said ‘on a cash basis.’ Which translated means ‘what is paid.’ was paid or with what made the companies not invoiced for 2024, because they would not be paid and leave it for 2025,” Borisov explained.
He has called on Finance Minister Lyudmila Petkova to provide clarity on delayed expenditures from 2024 that were pushed into the 2025 budget. “The answers to these questions are owed by the ministry of Finance. Those who have been making the country’s budgets for the last 4 years with Asen Vasilev,” he added.

Glavchev expressed skepticism about the fourth quarter, asking, “Who will say about the fourth quarter how much it has fallen to become 3%?” He emphasized the need for stable finances, stating, “We want the euro area, we want municipal and state sites to be built, we want an increase in income, we want not to touch the taxes.But 2024 did not make the costs they had to,but left for 2025,only to the account.”
