They are based on the planet Xandar and have the power to channel the energy of a star for superhuman abilities, including flight, superhuman strength, durability, and the ability to absorb and manipulate energy.
The Nova Corps made their MCU debut in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy,’ but sadly, their story was left largely untold. ‘avengers: Infinity War’ gave us a glimpse of their fate, which seemed grim, but as we certainly know from the MCU, not all is lost. I’m excited to see how Marvel Studios reinvigorates the Nova Corps and Richard Rider’s story.
