The official portraits of Donald Trump and Jay De Vance were unveiled by the Republican group, four days before Trump was sworn in as the 47th president of the United States.
“In just four days, Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th President of the United States and Jay D. Vance as the 50th Vice President of the United States – and their official portraits are here,” the group said in a statement.

In his new portrait, the US president-elect has lowered his right eyelid and is posing with an angry expression, compared to his first official portrait in 2017, in which he was smiling.

The new portrait of the Republican is however reminiscent of the photo taken as part of the official process of his arrest (mug shot) in a prison in Atlanta, Georgia, something that happened for the first time to a former president in the history of the USA.
After it was posted, the photo went viral and his campaign used it to sell merchandise including T-shirts, posters and coffee mugs.
