More than 150 ​adults and children rang in the New Year with a commitment too​ health and fitness,embarking on⁤ a​ six-week journey along the scenic Gort River Walk. Despite ‌the frosty weather, the​ event, organized by South Galway OT 2025,⁢ saw participants gather for a refreshing walk through ⁤the town, guided by 15 dedicated leaders and ​escorted by Gort’s Community Garda.

The program has‍ already garnered important interest, with over 370 participants​ signed up for an action-packed schedule of activities. From family⁢ hikes and trails ⁢to pole walking, yoga, and gym sessions, the initiative offers something ​for everyone.
