Biblical Map Of Israel Challenges The Arab World – What Neighboring Countries Does It Include –

The anger in the Arab world was caused by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel with its post in Arabic where it shows a biblical map in which many areas of neighboring Arab countries are mentioned under Israeli control. They typically concern areas of Palestine, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon.

Specifically, the map depicts the boundaries of the Kingdoms of Israel and Judea which, according to biblical references and Israeli claims, extended to many areas east of the Jordan River, i.e. inside Jordan, but also in Lebanon and Syria, and in all the Palestinian territories.

“Did you know that the Kingdom of Israel was founded 3000 years ago?” begins the post which then refers to the accounts of Kings Saul, David and Solomon, as well as the division of the kingdom into the northern Kingdom of Israel and the southern Kingdom of Judah and their respective destruction and exile by the Assyrian and Babylonian empires.

“However, the Jewish people in the Diaspora continued to look forward to the revival of their strength and potential and the rebuilding of their state, which was proclaimed in the State of Israel in 1948 as the only democracy in the Middle East,” mentioned in the post.

What the post says in Arabic:

Did you know that the Kingdom of Israel has existed for 3000 years?
The first king to rule for 40 years was King Saul (1050-1010) BC. He was followed by King David who ruled for almost 40 years (1010-970) BC. He was followed by King Solomon who also ruled for 40 years (970-931) BC.
The reign of the three kings lasted 120 years, a significant period of time in Israel’s history. These years witnessed the development of Jewish life in various fields, such as cultural, religious and economic.
After the death of King Solomon, the kingdom was divided in 931 BC. into two parts: The Kingdom of Israel in the north and the Kingdom of Judah in the south, after internal conflicts due to the heavy tax burdens and centralized policies he imposed on the tribes.
King Jeroboam ibn Nabat became king in the northern kingdom of Israel (depicted in yellow). He established two cult centers at Dan and Bethel to establish a separate identity from the southern kingdom of Rehoboam ben Solomon, who chose to raise taxes on the people in a time of suffering.
The kingdom of Israel in the north lasted about 209 years until it fell to the Assyrians in 722 BC.

The southern kingdom of Judah (in green) lasted about 345 years until it fell to Nebuchadnezzar, the emperor of Babylon, in 568 BC.
This division led to political conflicts throughout the history of the people of Israel, and its effects lasted for hundreds of years.
However, the Jewish people of the Diaspora continued to aspire to revive their strength and potential and to rebuild their state, which was proclaimed the State of Israel in 1948 to become the only democracy in the Middle East.
