Two ticket options are available: the General ticket, priced at €50, and the Micro-Sponsor ticket, priced at €250. both tickets grant access to all sessions and Contributor Day on June 5th (separate registration required for Contributor Day). “The Micro-Sponsor ticket, priced closer to the actual cost of attendance, is a great way to support the event if you’re able to contribute more,” organizers stated.
A key change this year is the requirement of a WordPress.org account to purchase tickets. Tickets are refundable, and attendees can transfer ownership via a link in their purchase confirmation email.

WordCamp Europe is thrilled to announce a new Diversity scholarship program, previously exclusive to WordCamp Asia. This initiative, born from recommendations by members of WordPress Community Support PBC and Queeromattic, allocates surplus funds from the 2024 event to support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) initiatives. “This program has been extended to the Europe event following recommendations from members of WordPress Community Support PBC and Queeromattic to allocate surplus funds from the 2024 flagship event budgets toward DEIB initiatives,” organizers explained.
The scholarship is designed to increase accessibility for underrepresented groups within the open-source community.Applicants must be active WordPress contributors, have never attended a flagship WordCamp (Asia, US, or Europe), require financial assistance, and belong to an underrepresented demographic.Applicants should also demonstrate a commitment to growing their local or European WordPress community. The scholarship covers travel to Basel from the recipientS home city,accommodation,and a WordCamp Europe 2025 ticket; though,it does not include airport transfers,meals,or other incidental expenses.
