Former⁢ President Bill Clinton, ⁢78, was admitted to Georgetown University Hospital in ‍Washington, D.C., on Monday, December 23,‍ after developing a fever, according to his spokesperson.

Angel Urena, a spokesperson ⁣for the former president, released a statement on X (formerly Twitter) offering reassurance‌ about Clinton’s condition. ​”President Clinton was admitted to Georgetown University Hospital this afternoon for testing and remains under ‍observation after contracting a fever. His spirits are high and ⁢he‌ is grateful for the quality‌ of care ​received,” Urena wrote.

This isn’t the first time Clinton has required hospitalization.in 2004, he ⁤underwent quadruple coronary ​bypass surgery, and⁤ in 2010, he had an angioplasty. More recently, in 2021, he‌ was ‍treated for sepsis.

Despite his current hospitalization,reports ⁢indicate Clinton remains in good spirits. A source close to the former president stated, “He ‌remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the ‍excellent care he is receiving.”
