Baltic Fuel Prices Soar:⁣ Tallinn ‍Leads​ in Gasoline Cost Increases

Last week brought a sharp increase in ⁢fuel prices across the Baltic⁤ capitals of Tallinn, Riga, and Vilnius. The surge, according to recent data, left drivers facing higher costs at the⁤ pump.

By the⁣ end of the work week, Tallinn boasted the highest gasoline prices among the ​three⁤ cities. Though, Riga⁤ took‍ the lead in ‍diesel costs, while Vilnius reported the lowest diesel prices.

“At the‍ end of the working week, the highest gasoline ⁤price was in Tallinn,‌ followed by Riga and Vilnius. Conversely, diesel fuel‍ was the most expensive in Riga, followed by ⁢Tallinn, while diesel fuel was the least expensive at the end of ‌the working week in ⁤Vilnius.”

Specifically, in Riga, Circle K gas stations on⁣ Krasta Street saw 95% gasoline prices jump 1.3% to €1.614 per liter on Friday. Diesel also experienced a⁤ 1.3% increase, reaching €1.574 per liter.

Vilnius mirrored the trend. ⁤ At a Circle K station on Savanorju prospect, ‍95% gasoline reached €1.489⁢ per liter on Friday—a 2.8% increase from the ‌previous week.Diesel prices climbed 2%, settling at €1.519 per liter.

Tallinn’s Circle K stations reported the most dramatic gasoline price increase, with a 3.1% jump ⁣to €1.649 per liter. Diesel prices in Tallinn also saw a ⁢meaningful ​rise of 3.3%, reaching €1.559 per liter​ on Friday.

Interestingly, autogas prices remained ‍relatively stable‍ in Riga and Vilnius, holding steady at ‌€0.805 and €0.749 per liter, respectively. However, Tallinn saw a 1.8% increase,bringing the price to €0.779 per liter.
