Saudi Arabian Ambassador Hisham Sultan Abdullah Alqahtani reciprocated the sentiment,thanking President Marcos for his support and acknowledging the significant contributions of Filipinos to Saudi arabia’s development over the past four decades. “We will not forget them. The development there in Saudi Arabia came with the Philippines also. It’s a common relation, common interest together with the Philippines,” alqahtani stated.
Looking ahead, with Saudi Arabia preparing to host the World Cup in 2030, the demand for skilled Filipino workers is expected to increase. Alqahtani indicated a need for Filipino expertise in mega-projects across the kingdom, particularly in Jeddah and northern regions.
