He was sentenced to 20 years in prison Dominic Pelican about the horrific rape case of his ex-wife, Giselle.
Prosecutors asked for the maximum sentence after he admitted that, for nearly a decade, he drugged his wife of 50 years so that he and strangers he recruited online would abuse her while he filmed the attacks.
In particular, he was found guilty of the rape of Giselle Pelico, the attempted rape and the rape of the wife of a co-defendant, as well as the recording and possession of illegal sexual images involving his daughter Caroline and his former daughters-in-law.
As news of his conviction spread, cheers could be heard outside the courtroom, where Giselle’s supporters had gathered.
The French court also ruled 46 of the other accused guilty of rape, two guilty of attempted rape and two guilty of sexual assault.
