The choice of Michel Barnier’s successor by Emmanuel Macron Macron is developing into a mystery film. As the name of France’s new prime minister was expected to be announced, Macron informed Francois Bairroux that he would not be appointed prime minister.
According to information from Le Monde, the French president met this morning at the Elysée with the centrist politician and his ally until now in the occasional government schemes.
Their meeting lasted 1 hour and 45 minutes, however, after Bayrou’s departure from the presidential palace, no announcement has yet been issued.
