Strabane Resident, Gabriel Farrell, Passes away
Strabane, County Tyrone, Ireland – Gabriel Farrell (née Farrell), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, at the Foyle Hospice. She was 12 dergalt Road, Strabane.
Ms. Farrell is survived by her children, Aidan, Mandy, and Julie; sons-in-law Michael and John; and grandchildren Ryan, Shane, Conor, Oran, Maisie, Danny, Pascal, and Rónán. She also leaves behind siblings isobel, Annie, Willie, Eugene, Magdalene, Leo, and Marie, as well as a large extended family. She was predeceased by her husband, Patsy, and siblings Eamon, Carmel, and Pauline.
A woman known for her warmth and kindness, Gabriel Farrell will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and family will continue to live on through her cherished children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at her home on Sunday, December 15, beginning at 2:00 p.m. The funeral will depart from her home on Tuesday, December 17, at 9:20 a.m. for a Requiem Mass at 10:00 a.m. in the church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane. Burial will follow at Strabane Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Foyle Hospice, c/o Quigley Funeral Directors, 1A Newtown Place, Strabane. The family respectfully requests privacy from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 noon.
