The championship match, held at the Jakarta State University GOR in Rawamangun, east Jakarta, saw Djarum Kudus triumph over Exist badminton in a thrilling final.
The decisive match came down to the men’s doubles pairing of Leo Rolly Carnando adn Daniel Marthin. Facing off against Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Yeremia Erich Yotje Yacob Rambitan from Exist Badminton, Leo/Daniel delivered a commanding performance, winning 21-15, 17-21, 21-9.
“We try to be united with each other on the field. When we fell behind in the second game, we tried to get up to finally win,” said Leo, reflecting on the match.
