**Dr. Sanchez:** Polanco, despite its affluence, is not immune to the violence that plagues other parts of Mexico City.
Organized crime has tentacles everywhere. It’s possible the victim was targeted specifically, perhaps due to a personal dispute or a connection to a particular criminal group. It’s also possible this was a message, a display of power meant to intimidate.

**Dr. Sanchez:** Firstly, a thorough and transparent investigation is crucial to identify the perpetrators and their motive. This will help understand the context of the crime.
Secondly, law enforcement needs to increase its presence in vulnerable areas, notably those with high foot traffic like Polanco.
**World-Today-News.com:** Some people might argue that this is an isolated incident and shouldn’t cause widespread concern. What would you say to them?
**Dr. Sanchez:** It’s understandable to wont to believe it’s an isolated incident, but we cannot afford to be complacent. This shooting is a symptom of a larger problem – the growing influence of organized crime in Mexico City. Ignoring it won’t make it go away. We need to be proactive in addressing the root causes of violence and improving security measures to protect all citizens.
