A young mother and her eight-month-old baby narrowly escaped a terrifying ordeal on November 22 when their home in Huddersfield, England, was targeted in a drive-by shooting. Shocking CCTV footage captured the chilling incident as a hooded suspect, riding a bicycle, approached the property before firing a shot at the downstairs window.
The bullet impacted the double-glazed window, becoming trapped between the glass panes and miraculously failing to penetrate completely. The young mother, who wished to remain anonymous, recalled the horrifying moment to YorkshireLive: " “I was shocked and scared because I had my eight-month-old here,” she said. "I had just moved my baby boy from the sofa to a high chair when the window exploded. I screamed. I thought it was a brick [at first]."
The terrifying experience left the mother deeply shaken. The sound of the gunshot and the shattering glass were undeniably reminiscent of a scene from a nightmare. It underscores the unexpected dangers that can exist, even in seemingly peaceful neighborhoods.

was last seen fleeing the area around 10:22 pm, riding a bicycle.
