The Gotham Awards celebrated the finest in independent cinema on Monday night, honoraneously awarding "A Different Man" as the Best Feature Film. The ceremony, a star-studded event held at New York’s Cipriani Wall Street, saw the film’s director, Aaron Schimberg, stunned by the unexpected win. Schimberg, expressing his lack of planned speech, admitted, “[He] thought it would be paradoxical, even hubris, to think I needed one cconsidering the auspicious nominees."
