Norway Triumphs in Mixed Relay, Austria Finishes Behind

To the delight of the Austrian biathlon team, the mixed single relay started at the start (fourth place for Hauser/Eder, read here >>>), the performance in the mixed doubles is not very encouragingGarbage.

The quartet of Dunja Zdouc, Lea Rothschopf, Felix Leitner and David Komatz he will not pass the eleventh place.

The victory goes to Norway (0+10), which is slightly ahead of France (0+4/+0.8 seconds) and Sweden (0+7/+21.5).

An interesting ending

The decision is made on the home field. The last runner in France Emilien Jacquelin is the first to enter the last lap and looks like he can hold off Martin Ponsiluoma (SWE) and Vebjoern Soerum (NOR). But the Norwegian shows a good last lap and is able to pass Ponsiluoma shortly before the end and then Jacquelin on the home straight.

Austria had little to do with the decision from the start. Right from the start, Zdouc and Rothschopf lose a lot of time on the way. Go with it Felix Leitner and David Komatz are already in their races with a mortgage.

The fourth ÖSV has been in twelfth place for a long time, the last runner Komatz can improve by at least one place.
