The Halver Christmas market is just around the corner and the nursery schools in Halver were able to decorate a pine tree with their homemade decorations on the morning of Friday, November 29.
“Monday, when the Christmas market is over, the Christmas trees are taken to the day care center,” said kindergarten teacher Zoe Becker. The trees then create a Christmas atmosphere in the kindergartens.
Every year, the city of Halver asks Halveran kindergartens if they would like to decorate a pine tree at the Christmas market – they are then placed on the stage next to the cultural station.
The kids got creative with crafts beforehand – they made stars, snowflakes, Christmas trees, colorful ribbons and more. Day care children can take their jewelry home with them after the Christmas market weekend.
