Latvian singer-songwriter Linda Kudure is hoping to spread some festive cheer this holiday season with her latest release, "Christmas Song." The track, already gracing Latvian airwaves, evokes a powerful message about the true meaning of the holidays.
"The song reminds us that the magic of the holidays is not in the weather, or in the gifts, but in the love that unites people," Kudure shared about her latest creation.

"Although my daily life is mostly related to a completely different field, since I work in marketing, music has always been an integral part of my life. You don’t have to be a "full-time" singer to spend time on music, sometimes to write and maybe later to record a song. From time to time it is important to break away from the usual rhythm, pick up the guitar and create something new, because music makes me happy. This song is not only a message to others, but to myself as well, so that I don’t forget what motivates and gives meaning to life," Kudure confided.
The singer ends with a heartfelt invitation: "I invite you to enter this piece and create a Christmas full of love, warmth and pure joy!"
"Christmas Song," written and melodized by Kudure herself and arranged by composer Jānis ķirsis, is accompanied by a heartwarming video that perfectly captures the song’s essence.
This isn’t Kudure’s first foray into the world of music. A lifelong musician, she participated in the popular Latvian television show "Choir Wars" with the Riga Golden Choir and even portrayed the Witch in the rock opera "Lāčplēsis." Kudure has also released a number of original songs, including the duet "Freedom" with former actor and opera singer Juris Jopi and the touching wedding tribute "Kaut basām gaši" dedicated to her husband last July.
