U-NEXT begins exclusive distribution of the men’s tennis tour “ATP Tour” in Japan. Signed a 5-year partnership agreement with “ATP Media” | U-NEXT Corporate

U-NEXT has entered into a five-year partnership with “ATP Media.” We will begin exclusive distribution of the world’s premier men’s tennis tour, “ATP Tour,” in Japan. If you are a monthly member of U-NEXT, you can enjoy it without any additional charge.

U-NEXT enters the new sports genre “tennis”! Exclusive distribution of “ATP Tour” begins
The ATP Tour is the world’s premier men’s tennis tour. Top players from around the world compete for the number one spot in the world rankings and engage in high-level battles. Another major goal for the players is to participate in the final tournament of the tour, the Nitto ATP Finals, where only the top eight players in the annual rankings can participate.

In recent years, the world of tennis has seen the success of a new generation of tennis players, including current world No. 1 players Yannick Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz. On the other hand, Novak Djokovic, one of the BIG4 players aiming for his 100th tour victory, is still alive and well! Meanwhile, the biggest focus is on Kei Nishikori, who has made a full recovery after a long absence due to injury. Armed with one of the world’s best strokes, he will challenge the world’s strongest players. The ATP Tour, where old and new generations collide, is attracting attention from tennis fans around the world.

In addition to Kei Nishikori, many other high-profile players from Japan will be participating, including Yoshihito Nishioka, who is currently No. 1 in the Japanese rankings, and Rei Sakamoto, who won the Australian Open Junior this year and made his professional debut at the Japan Open.

U-NEXT will offer unlimited live streaming of the “Nitto ATP Finals,” “ATP Masters1000,” “ATP500,” “ATP250,” and “Next Gen ATP Finals presented by PIF” of the “ATP Tour” 2025-2029 season. Through a long-term five-year contract, we will strive to create an environment that tennis fans can fully enjoy, not only by live streaming matches but also by expanding peripheral content.

In response to the conclusion of this basic agreement, ATP Media CEO Mark Webster and U-NEXT Co., Ltd. President and Representative Director Tenshin Tsutsumi made the following comments.

ATP Media, CEO, Mark Webster
We are very happy to be able to enter into a partnership with Japan’s U-NEXT. Japan has national stars like Kei Nishikori, and there are many wonderful and passionate tennis fans. We are very excited to partner with U-NEXT to bring the ATP Tour to these many fans through a market-leading platform that shares common values of excellence and innovation. We are very much looking forward to our new partnership.

U-NEXT Co., Ltd. Representative Director and President Tenshin Tsutsumi
Until now, U-NEXT has focused on golf, European soccer, and martial arts, and has been a place to support the success of Japanese athletes who are challenging the world, and a place to deliver the world’s best play to the Japanese people. We have worked hard to expand each competition. Now, with the addition of the ATP Tour, we have created an environment where tennis fans can enjoy the world’s best tennis.

As the fourth pillar of the sports genre, following golf, European soccer, and martial arts, we will focus not only on matches but also on related content. Please look forward to future developments.

We have also received comments from participating players regarding the ATP Tour’s U-NEXT broadcast.

Kei Nishikori
From 2025, official matches of the ATP Tour will also be streamed on U-NEXT. I also want to participate in more official ATP Tour matches next year, so please support me at U-NEXT!

Daniel Taro
The “ATP Tour” series will be broadcast on U-NEXT from 2025. I am grateful that we have created a platform that allows more people to watch the games than ever before! I would be happy if you could enjoy next year’s “ATP Tour” at U-NEXT!

Shintaro Mochizuki
In the 2025 season, I will do my best to participate in as many tournaments as possible above “ATP250”!
