NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPOINTED.
TOMMASO SERVETTO IS THE PRESIDENT
During the meeting held yesterday at the Teatro della Concordia, the College of
Founders of the Via Maestra Foundation proceeded with the appointment of the new one
Board of Directors and the President.
The new Board of Directors is made up of Chiara Turino, lawyer
already member of the previous Board of Directors, and Elisa Bruson, merchant from Venaria
Real. Tommaso Servetto was designated to fill the role of President,
lawyer and member of the Bar Senate.
Mayor Fabio Giulivi was present at the meeting, as President of the
Board of Founders, and the members Lara Tonello and Chiara Mandas. They have
the councilors for Culture, Marta Barbara Santolin, for Tourism,
Events and Commerce, Monica Federico and Public Works and Maintenance,
Giuseppe Di Bella.
The mayor, Fabio Giulivi, declares: «The Via Maestra Foundation is a pillar
of the cultural growth of Venaria Reale. I thank the previous Board of Directors and the
president Diego Donzella for his commitment and I wish the new one good work
Board of Directors and the president Tommaso Servetto. I’m sure that
their leadership will strengthen the Foundation’s role as a point of reference
cultural for our community”.
The Foundation was established with a resolution of the City Council of 19
December 2007, and its articles of association were formally signed on the 20th
June 2008 at the Municipality of Venaria Reale.
Tommaso Servetto, president of the Via Maestra Foundation, states: «I thank the
Mayor, the municipal administration and the Board of Founders for the trust
placed in me. I accepted the assignment with pleasure, infected by enthusiasm
of the Mayor and municipal councillors. It is planned for the Foundation a
period of intense commitment in relation to new projects under development,
such as the new Culture Hub and much more. I thank the President
who preceded me, Diego Donzella, for the valuable activity carried out to date
and which with the new Board of Directors we will try to carry forward with the utmost commitment and
dedication. I will obviously need the collaboration and experience of the director

The tasks conferred within the Foundation, in compliance with
provisions of the law, are honorary and do not provide for any compensation.
These roles end at the end of the Mayor’s mandate, except where applicable
revocations.
The Foundation, created to support the cultural development of the territory, reiterates the
own commitment to the management, enhancement and promotion of activities e
of museum, theater, library and cultural structures in general. With
particular attention to the conservation and maintenance of heritage
cultural received or acquired, the Foundation intends to be a point of
reference for the cultural and social growth of the community.
